Rob Arthurs, Business Advisor
Rob Arthurs is a born entrepreneur. From a young age he has consistently created successful companies and turned the curve balls life can throw to his advantage. His career has spanned a number of industry sectors from a greeting card salesman, delivery truck driver to casual wear manufacturer. The common theme to all his endeavors is a passion for what he is doing and a belief in his own potential.
His company ‘True North Clothing Company’ produced casual wear manufactured in Canada and developed an incredibly popular t-shirt. The company sold a range of products worldwide and was voted one of the 100 fastest growing Canadian businesses in 1999.
Rob has been nominated twice for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year; the Van City Business Ethics in Action award; BC Business Person of the Year; has been a speaker at over eighty events in Canada and the United States; been on trade missions to Asia; participated in over 200 trade shows; and is past chair of Harvest Project, the Advisory Planning Commission of The City of North Vancouver, Rotary, and Junior Achievement.
Today he operates three of his own companies (Robert A Arthurs International; Business-Mechanics.com; Arthurs Royal Clothing) and still finds time to give back to the community, be an author, guest business columnist, Certified Business Coach, Business Mechanic & Entrepreneur Trainer.
Over the years Rob has helped hundreds of business professionals via one-on-one entrepreneurial training and coaching; and thousands more through his many innovative workshops. He provides personal support and direction, and more importantly the tools to empower his clients on their road to success. |
