Eldercare Planning
Katherine Willett, Eldercare Planning
Are you concerned about an elderly parent or do you know someone who is? Eldercare Planning offers a service that can link you with the appropriate government, non-profit, and business services and products which exist to enrich the quality of life of your aged relatives. It helps you understand the biological, psychological, social, financial, and legal changes that can accompany the ageing process of your elderly loved one. Eldercare Planning is not a care agency. Rather, it is a service which helps you review the current situation facing a senior, and learn about possible solutions. It saves time, the frustration of 'the run-around', and it reduces caregiver stress.
Katherine Willett (B.A., 1977; Post Baccalaureate Diploma - Gerontology, 2000) is a gerontologist ( a profession that specializes in the non-medical side of ageing). She understands the challenges that ageing brings to seniors. As the adult child of an 87 year old parent, she is also familiar with the joys and stresses that come with the role of caregiving. Katherine is a proud member of the Canadian Association on Gerontology, the BC Alliance of Information & Referral Specialists, the Seniors Housing Information Program, and the International Council on Active Aging.
