Eileen Hoeter, Business Advisor
Eileen Hoeter has twenty years of experience in the television and film industry. Her company, Hoetergraphics, has been involved in an array of film, television and photography projects. Her second company, CreateHer Productions, spent three very busy years producing fifty-seven shows of THE CREATORS - the LEO AWARD winning, multi-cultural magazine-style television series that profiled Canadian Women in the Arts nationally.
Many of Eileen's productions have garnered numerous awards including a Genie nomination for Best Short Documentary "Dying To Be Perfect" and The Leo Award for best TV informational series. Hoetergraphics has worked in conjunction with broadcasters and companies including CBC, WTN, Omni Productions, Yaletown Productions, Spectra Communications , as well as government and private agencies including The National Film Board, Canada's Department of Corrections, Canada's Science and Technology Museum, British Columbia's Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labour, Vancouver Aquarium and British Columbia's Museum of Anthropoloy. Hoetergraphics has offered services in directing,producing production managing, post-production supervision and budgeting services in both North America and Europe, as well as coordinating the photography for the Vancouver International Film festival for twelve years. Currently Eileen is working on two documentaries as Director, "Fertility Stories" and "Good Grief".
In addition, Eileen is involved in Property Management, as well as being President of the BC Institute of Film Professionals; a Board member of the Vancouver International Film Festival; on the Advisory Board for the Leo Awards, and was Director of Film Studies at Vancouver Film School from 1996 - 2003.
Eileen is a certified life and career coach, and currently sits on the board of the International Coach Federation/Vancouver Chapter. Eileen has her MFA from UBC. |
